The Wealth Tax, False Promises and Astroturf Mores
Americans are spoon fed lies (propaganda) after being abused for demanding representation.
Americans, even Oregonians, have asked for reduced government spending since at least 1993.
The GOP response? They said screw you and tore up the Contract With America. Recently, POTUS 47 and Speaker Johnson shelved the DOGE cuts and the DOGE dividend.
Now, with more Federal spending and inflation, we’re talking about a “billionaire tax.” This tax will be passed on to consumers. But people who voice opinion and vote this way are gaslighted and punished.
Even local “oddsmakers” and other king pins will muscle local conservatives who won’t bend the knee. They’ll even muscle College Republicans and independent writers.
Usually the GOP assists the other side with damage control. Remember issues the Oregon GOP told voters to shut up about, like the gay wedding cake and the deplatforming of Michael Savage.
Since I was a kid, the Oregon Republican Party would suggest cutting the payroll tax and other taxes and suggest wages would rise.
But as usual, they waste majorities and they play divide and conquer with the grassroots.
Sometimes activists will grovel for a minimum wage increase. The old heads said, not without off setting tax cuts.
How long are we expected to play this game? When is John Galt gonna hit the airwaves and say, “the gig is up?”
Even the once semi-rebellious FI-RE movement has been astroturfed and made palatable for Far Left teacher by shadowy figures.
Whether you’re talking about Dave Ramsey, “independent” FI-RE forums or even financial gurus, we are expected to repeat government talking points.
Who says DOGE is impossible?
Who says index funds only?
Who says not to check your 401k options and the 401K vesting schedule before you open the account?
Who determined stock options are too risky?
Who says crypto and precious metals are off limits? It’s interesting conservatives decided to conserve crypto, the money of the new world order, without admitting defeat?
Why do even business school curriculum get sanitized and dumbed down?
Why are student loan debtors taking all the gaslighting for untenable loans? Aren’t the colleges partly responsible?
Why are creditors, especially car dealerships, allowed to be predatory?
Why do well credentialled sheeple get to play divide and conquer against conservatives and libertarians? Why is shaming, concern trolling and open crime OK for societal leaders?
Things are so bad, insolent normies lash out and reject helpful advice.
Alleged conservatives masturbate to war movies rather than read their Bible or Atlas Shrugged.
If it makes wolves in sheep’s clothing feel better, there are Leftist lawyers stealing IP and turning whole niches into online homeless camps.
Local kingpins talk a good game. But they’re afraid of higher ups and the woke mob and well credentialled crooks.
Cuckervatives painted themselves into a corner back in the 1990’s.
The name of the game is delaying tactics and divide and conquer. Many Republican officials are scared or too stupid to suggest reform. You’re expected to be a good semi literate, news watching idiot, though.
