My beliefs that people don’t like, mostly boil down to the following.
Never reveal your net worth.
No one is looking at what purchase is “right” for you considering your net worth.
Never flex.
Same kind of thing. There are professional and well-credentialled crooks out there.
Don’t be surprised by astroturf.
Humble pie, countryfied dude bros are usually chosen to be astroturf. Astroturf are basically non thinking NPC workers. Politics has largely been taken off the general population’s “menu.” The leadership of the uniparty is cool with it. Besides politics, the manosphere and Financial Independence Retire Early movements were astroturfed, because they were a threat to the progressive elite.
Bet on yourself. If you dream of being a pol or working in politics, go to LI.
People hate it when I say go to LI. My opinion is you can also beat mutual funds.
Never give away contingency plans or back up plans.
This should be common sense. There are all kinds of crooks.
Some pastors don’t believe in God. The state is not God.
Long ago, Chuck Swindoll, a pastor, predicted the U.S. would turn into a state worshipping godless country. Christians where I live didn’t really rally or bet on themselves when this sermon dropped.
Distrust people who flew foreign flags while the US was in distress.
While 46 burned the country down, shitiots flew foreign flags and made deals that flew in the face of MAGA, America First and Restore the Republic. 45/47 rewarded them with authority anyway.
Opinion polls are not a substitute for critical thought. (Fade the masses. Fade the crowd when it’s wrong).
Reading Hardball is not demonic or destructive to your career.
If I don’t know shit, don’t try to pick my brains or steer me towards (my proper place) disgrace or disaster.
They would never [do sacrilegious thing]. They would, they did and they do all the time.
Good people will sell themselves short and then act like that’s why they’re good.
Every other authority figure sees themselves as a mafia don.
Friends who went into government work told me. Private firms going Jim Taggart showed me firsthand we’re a banana republic waiting to happen.
“No employer would ever leave bait.” B.S. pal. They do all the time. Ever heard of the Tall Poppy Syndrome or read the story of Jacob’s Ladder? They’d do it for reasons that would blow your mind.
