Most people obey. Most news won’t tell you this, but many Oregonians are loyal and honest to a fault. Oregonians aren’t all rebels? Not at all.
The Democrats have ruled Oregon since 1986. In 1986, old fellers went around events, we’ll say and told kids the Democrats were busy promising everything to everyone…
AND,
“there is nothing they (The ORGOP), you or I can do. Don’t even try.”
A loser mentality? Yes. What other problems were there? There was anti-literacy and anti-intellectualism attitude in public schools.
Political Action Committees, weird marketing companies and ivory tower experts played divide-and-conquer with a mostly malleable public. Dads would vote and act against their own self-interest to be on the right side.
I college, I found most conservative students apathetic. Some really studied and thought about the futuristic Leftist nonsense that was promoted on TV and in many classes. Radio and in person ministries also (mostly) reinforced the allegedly neutral objective Leftist bullshit.
Agenda 2000, which is now Agenda 2030 and The WEF (Bilderberg) were off limits to most of the public. The Republican Party enforced censorship of autodidactic, conspiracies and libertarianism.
The Internet slowly changed this.
Rush Limbaugh was called a bigot, because to a degree he was cutting edge and because he’d overestimate the Democrats. Rush called the liberals buffoons and merely misguided.
Today, many politicos, people becoming mainstream, say the Democrats are/were evil.
What happened when Oregon pols say get what you can get, not everything you want? They try to have their cake and eat it too.
Rock ribbed conservatives post bogus demographic maps and pump a fist in the air and declare they’re gonna flip Oregon.
But, they always fail.
Why? Well they act like there’s no Portland or greater Portland area. There’s also no fraud or corruption in Portland to rail against.
Republicans usually won’t blame Democrat policy for homelessness. Rock ribbed Republicans will actually say:
“It’s their fault they’re out there.”
“All homeless are ANTIFA.”
Rock ribbed conservatives just ignore reality. Libertarians are allowed to bring up housing policy, the failure of the legalization of hard drugs as well as the failure (and fraud) of the state government and the Uniparty.
Ayn Rand says you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.
Snippy little country dude bro wants to make his opinion heard. Fine. But its not like objective people have ever heard pseudo conservative slop before.
What stops cutting country cousin from going to The Leadership Institute or asking role models what they’ve read that was a help, personally?
